Scholarship applications open through February 28
Gulf Coast Community Foundation offers a wide range of scholarship opportunities for students throughout South Mississippi, from high school seniors taking their first step toward college to post-traditional students returning to the classroom to pursue new goals.
These scholarships are made possible by generous individuals, families, and organizations who believe in the power of education to change lives.
“We love seeing students pursue what matters most to them,” said Dr. Christen Duhé, president and executive director of GCCF. “These scholarships open real doors for them, and it’s only possible because of donors who want to make that kind of difference. Their generosity truly changes lives.”
Scholarships at GCCF cover a broad range of fields and interests, including engineering, education, health care, business, human services, behavioral sciences, performing arts, sports medicine and other career-focused pathways. Some support students from specific high schools or counties, while others honor the legacy of beloved community members or celebrate qualities like leadership, community involvement or academic excellence. Criteria consider several areas, including academic achievement, financial need, community involvement and leadership qualities.
Students can explore available scholarships and apply at https://www.mygccf.com/lGgd. The deadline to submit applications is February 28.
