Inspired by our area code, 228 Day reflects the spirit of South Mississippi—neighbors supporting neighbors and businesses investing where they live and work. That’s what 228 Day celebrates, and your gift helps make that work possible when needs and opportunities arise. Plus, through Mississippi’s Endow Mississippi Tax Credit Program, your gift may qualify for a 25% state tax credit, making it an even more powerful way to invest in your community.
