Gulf Coast Community Foundation offers multiple grant opportunities

GULFPORT, MS (August 1, 2025) – Gulf Coast Community Foundation is now accepting applications for grants aimed at improving lives and strengthening communities across South Mississippi. These grants are made possible through funds at GCCF.

“These grants address a wide range of vital causes in our community,” said Dr. Christen Duhé, GCCF president and executive. “We’re proud to help connect local organizations with the funding they need, and we’re deeply grateful to the generous donors who make this support possible.”

Grant Opportunities

GivHer Circle Grant: Funded by the GivHer Circle Fund, one $20,000 grant will be awarded to a nonprofit organization serving George, Hancock, Harrison, Jackson, Pearl River or Stone County. Priority is given to projects focused on child welfare, education and health. Application deadline is August 31.

Coast Electric Community Trust Operation Round Up Grant: This grant provides up to $10,000 to charitable organizations serving Hancock, Harrison or Pearl River counties. Application deadline is August 31.

Jack A. and Gertrude W. Wilson Animal Welfare Fund: Grants of up to $15,000 will be awarded to support a wide range of animal welfare causes throughout the South Mississippi. Application deadline is October 31.

Anthony Dartez Endowment Fund: This grant supports organizations and educators working to improve the lives of individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, with a focus on education and training. Grants are up to $2,000. Application deadline is October 31.

Mary and Gene Levens Excellence in Teaching Grant: Open to teachers in the Long Beach Public School System and St. Vincent DePaul Elementary School, this $1,000 grant helps fund classroom supplies, materials, technology and experiences that benefit students. Application deadline is October 31.

Pat Santucci Education Fund: This grant provides up to $2,000 in support of projects that make a lasting impact on public education, educators and special education in the counties of Harrison, Hancock, Jackson, Stone, Pearl River and George. Application deadline is October 31.
