The Isiah Fredricks Education Fund supports new education projects in schools of the Gulfport and Harrison County School Districts, whose student population is from predominately low income families.
Who Can Apply
- Applicants must be non-profit, tax-exempt organizations that are involved in enhancing the quality of life for citizens of South Mississippi. Organizations that have not been recognized as tax-exempt by the IRS may apply if they have a fiscal agent relationship with a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.
Grants not funded: Capital, operating endowment fund drives, Political Activities, Individuals, or Religious Activities.
Isiah Fredricks Education Fund awards grants each spring to new education projects in schools of the Gulfport and Harrison County School Districts whose student population is from predominately low income families. Awards are $1,000 or less.
Application Period: August 1 – October 31
HOW TO APPLY
Visit our website or call the Gulf Coast Community Foundation at (228) 897-4841. Applications should be assembled with the GRANT APPLICATION FORM first, followed by the PROPOSAL. One set of the requested attachments should be clipped to the original GRANT APPLICATION FORM.
The original signed application and eight (8) copies of the GRANT APPLICATION FORM and PROPOSAL should be postmarked by the deadline for the specific fund. All applicants will receive a response whether the grant is awarded or denied.
